1, external contour
The balance weight has a certain effect on the beauty of the vehicle, so its outline should be based on the vehicle styling. In the design of the whole vehicle, the length and turning radius and other important parameters should be considered, in which the turning radius is more important than the length.
2. Ventilation holes
Because heat balance is an important parameter of forklift truck, poor heat dissipation performance can easily lead to excessive temperature of engine cooling water, affecting the performance of forklift truck. Therefore, the position, air duct and airflow guidance of balance weight ventilation holes are particularly important.
3. Selection and installation
Generally speaking, the mass, center of mass and rear suspension of the balance weight are given by the overall layout of the whole truck, in which the selection of the balance weight mass mainly considers the longitudinal stability of the forklift truck when it is full-loaded stacking and running. The quality of balance weight directly affects the safety factor of forklift truck before and after balancing, and is the main parameter to determine the safety factor of forklift truck.
4. Location of lifting hole
It is also important to balance the weight of the 2 lifting holes. In order to facilitate hoisting and improve safety, the two lifting holes should be symmetrically arranged on the left and right sides of the balance weight center line, and the front and rear directions should be in line with the balance weight center of mass. Some balance weights use lifting lugs, and their positions determine the same reason.
5. Departure angle
The angle of departure of the lower end of the counterweight is also important. This angle is mainly to avoid friction between the lower end of the counterweight and the ground when going up and down the slope. In theory, the angle of departure is equal to the maximum climbing angle of a specific vehicle. The position of the cut-off point at the lower end of the balance weight should be determined according to the maximum gradient of the specific vehicle and the rear suspension of the balance weight.
